Susan has performed across the U.S. and in Mexico, directed two modern dance companies, trained professional dancers and presented quality presentations for audiences of all ages. Former director of the 940 Dance Company and aha! dance theatre, she has also served as a dancer and/or guest-choreographer for City in Motion Dance Theatre, Kambour Dance Theatre, and A Company of Dancers.

Her choreography for the original play Lost, performed at Rockhurst University in 2004, was recognized with a Kennedy Center Award for Achievement in Choreography (ACTF Region V)
